What this blog is about

(Jan 12, 2011): Adding matters of Indian and Pakistani history to this blog.

Pak Tea House is a blog that among other things, is meant to promote a liberal Pakistan.

That endeavor involves however, some degree of myth-making, and consequent deletion of dissenting comments.

It is important even if nobody reads it right now, that dissent be on the record and be available. Hence this blog.

Feel free to comment here.

PS: I took the first comment by Pagan seriously.

PPS:
Rules:

This is meant to be a discussion board, so discuss away.  Do try to keep on topic and use parliamentary language, though this is not going to be enforced - life is too short for moderation of comments.  I will however, remove anything that I judge to be a incitement to violence.  I will also try to keep the place free of spam.

PPPS:
The disqus.com comment system used here is supposed to be indexed and searchable by Google.   That is why I chose it.

  1. Nice initiative!

    Suggestion:
Instead of answer2pakteahouse, you can make this more generic to include other liberal Pakistani blogs as well. Like fiverupees, chup etc.

  2. Hmm, Pagan, do those blogs also censor inconvenient comments?
